I was in my first semester of student teaching. I was called Miss Vue, so that's where "missvue" came from. Since it was 2009 when my friend told me to create a live journal account, I decided to add the "09" to my username. Now that I think about it, I should have just stuck with missvue. I mean, what are the odds of that username being taken? Not to mention, I dislike having numbers in my usernames. Oh, well. Too late now. That's why I'm "missvue09".

It's not really a movie, but I do enjoy watching A Charlie Brown Christmas. The little tree is soo cute! I think Rite Aid is selling plastic ones just like it.

My family and I celebrate Christmas even though our religion isn't Christianity or Catholicism. It's Shaomanism. We celebrate it because we're surrounded by people who celebrates it. I used to celebrate New Year's, but not anymore. Partying isn't really my thing.

At one point, I said Vampire Knight should be turned into a movie (not anime) with real celebrities as the cast.
I would have picked Yunho to be Zero, b/c he had gray bluish gray hair (just like Zero) during their Rising Sun era.

I chose Jaejoong to be Kaname, b/c I think Jaejoong may have had a similar hair do like Kaname's after their Rising Sun era when his hair got a little longer. But mostly b/c they're both beautiful men!

Changmin would be Akatsuki since they're both very tall.
That's as far as I went. I never went back to finish the rest of the cast.

[Error: unknown template qotd]It was my first or second year of college. It was a rainy day and I just got out of class. I happened to pass by a guy who was standing in the rain without an umbrella, waiting to be picked up. I handed him my umbrella without a second thought and said, "Here you go." He took it, but he also gave me a very confused look, "O--kay?" He was too shock to say anything else. I simply smiled and just walked away. Why? Because I lived on campus that year, so in less than five minutes, I would have been in my room, dry and away from the rain, while he had to wait for who knows how long for his ride to arrive. No regrets!

The legal drinking age is 21 in California. They had tried to lower it to 18 and it was not passed. THANK GOODNESS!!!!!! Yes, lots of people use the argument, "If they're allowed to vote, serve/sell alcoholic beverages, and enlist in the army at the age of 18, then why can't they be allowed to purchase alcohol?" I don't think a teenager (18 yr.old) should be given that priveliege. Plus, some of them are still in high school; they'll more than likely buy alcohol and share it with their underage friends. I just don't see anything good coming out of this.

Hmm...the only book that always pop in my head whenever I hear the word 'book' is Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I read this book back in the summer of 2003, right before my senior/final year in high school as an assignment for AP English. And I liked it very much. I have seen three movie versions of that book.

The first movie I saw of Pride and Prejudice was an Indian version of the story. It was titled Bride and Prejudice. I'm also a fan of Hindi musical films, so I liked the movie. It gave the storyline a modern and different cultural feel to it. Because the movie was an Indian version, the names and lines were slightly different from the book, but the storyline was still the same.

The second movie I saw casted the beautiful Keira Knightley and the handsome Matthew Macfadyen. Some of the lines from the book were switched between characters. Some events in the book did not occur in the movie. The movie had a few of the characters from the book missing. Of course, the movie had some things that weren't in the book. Nonetheless, I still liked the movie a lot due to the chemistry between Keira and Matthew's characters on screen.

Then the third movie I saw was the original version, which was made back in 1995 with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. This movie had two parts. It's long, b/c it followed the book exactly in characters, dialogues, events, etc., something the previous 2 movies mentioned lacked. Anyone who loved the book would not be disappointed in this movie.

I have all three versions! I also have the book and another book called
Mr. Darcy's Diary, which is Pride and Prejudice from Mr. Darcy's point of view.

I only like cats when they're kittens, so technically, I like kittens, not cats. As for dogs, I like them when they're puppies. But between cats and dogs, I think I would prefer dogs, b/c they're more active. Cats just lay there all day long. Their eyes scares me sometimes. I think I like small dogs compared to big dogs. But I would never own a pet. Too many responsibilities and I know I won't have time for one.

No! That's stupid!

All right. So I had a talk with my younger sister and she said that the purpose of a marriage license renewal or expiration date is so that married people don't have to go through painful divorces. I guess that could help to lower the percentage of divorced couples in America.

When I was in my early teen years, I used to watch Pokemon and my favorite pokemon was Jigglypuff. It's just so cute! Plus, it sings a beautiful song or lullaby! So if I could have any fictional creature, it would be Jigglypuff!
